In my last post, I talked about how music has changed over the years, and in the end, I started to get into how technology is one of the big main reasons music has changed so much. In this post, I will be talking about that more. Like I said in the last post,
It can open a lot of doors to so many new sounds and effects that were never available in the past. One thing that is being done now that could have never been done in the past is sample manipulations. Because of technology, this has become very popular in modern music. It is basically taking a sample and manipulating it into something brand new and something that no one has ever heard before. Another thing that is pretty popular because of technology is the use of digital effects and digital amps for guitars and other instruments. For these, you basically plug your guitar or other instruments into your computer and you immediately have access to thousands of amps and pedals to change the sound of your instrument. you can also record yourself much easier and produce music pretty easily all by yourself. Overall technology has definitely had some positive effects on music and it also allows music to be created much faster and more efficiently. If technology wasn't where it is today, I think releasing and creating music would be very different and it probably wouldn't have evolved this much
